“Equine Facilitated Therapy is a little like using a horse as your therapist. Initially this might sound like a ridiculous idea as horses are clearly non-verbal, but hold your judgement for a moment and read on. 

As herd animals, horses ‘feel’ into each other and other species to communicate and read intention. ​ They can know if a predator is interested in them as well as being able to communicate with other herd members.  This natural ability is extremely useful – a kind of barometer to help us to map and notice changes in how we feel that might otherwise go unnoticed.   ​ READ FULL ARTICLE ​
